Its been a while

Well, it is two years later. The ceiling is still off. I am still in school, not much of an end in site. I still strongly dislike the program and all the logistical problems.

Jon and I finally got an engagement ring, which is nice, in silver and with a pretty blue stone. I was also given my great grandmother's (who was previously mentioned) anniversary ring (I believe her 50th) and we may make that into something, and combine it with a stone from my fathers side of the family.

No wedding date in site. We have talked about the 22nd of August 2009, but have nothing beyond that....

Finals

I am in finals hell. The last few days have been nothing but straight work, and today I have been trying to motivate but can't. It is quite lame. I just can't wait until the week is over, but then again, I can't really think in days right now, only in amount of work left. Otherwise I am distracted and start questioning why it is I am doing the work not other things.

The following images are what I hope to have in a few days. So far away, and yet so close...

Today we take down the ceiling. This will not be fun. Luckily Jon said I could go to work and not have to be there....I hope there is no toxic mold. I wish we had moved somewhere else for this construction...

Good greif

I think school is more than I can handle.

With all these assignments in math and classes that scare me I feel like I am 16 again. Boo to that.

It would't be so terrible if I didn't feel like jumping down someones throat for all the administrative crap thats going on. I want to be paid and have health insurance and not have to fight for both. It makes the studying thing really hard.

Touched for the very first time...

Well, here it is, my very first blog. I guess I should inform the general public that in the past few days I have:
  • Gotten engaged to my boyfriend Jon, a very joyous event
  • Had my car break down on me in the middle of the Bourne rotary (more on rotarys to come)
  • Lost my 101 year old great grandmother...to old age.
I'm overwhelmed by all, but have had the opportunity to discuss all aspects with family and friends, and I hope to post those thoughts as time goes on.

Peace (hopefully with N. Korea)
